The University of Tennessee baseball team has made a spectacular start to the 2025 season by sweeping Hofstra in their opening series. Under the seasoned guidance of head coach Tony Vitello, who is entering his eighth year with the program, the Vols have made quite the statement, sweeping their opening series against Hofstra.
Starting on February 14 at the beloved Lindsey Nelson Stadium, the Vols wasted no time showcasing their dominance. They crushed Hofstra in the series opener with an astonishing 15-0 victory in just seven innings, which was a run-rule win that left fans on their feet.
