ASHEVILLE, N.C. — UNC Asheville fall teams are fighting for postseason position, and the Bulldogs face a road-heavy slate this week across soccer, volleyball, cross country, swimming and golf.
Men’s soccer opens the week at Wake Forest on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at 7 p.m. in Winston-Salem. Asheville enters 9-2-1 and 3-1-0 in league play, while Wake Forest is 8-3-1. It is the fifth all-time meeting, with Wake Forest leading the series 4-0-0. The men close the week at Radford on Oct. 18 at 4 p.m.
Volleyball, at 14-7 and 2-3 in the league, plays two key Big South road matches. The Bulldogs visit Winthrop on Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. in Rock Hill, S.C., where Winthrop leads the all-time series 51-34.
