GREER, S.C. — Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport moved 6,732 passengers through the Greer terminal on Oct. 25, topping every prior one-day count for travelers screened at the hub.
Airport leaders flagged the October spike this week as a new peak for passenger volume at GSP. The tally covers people who passed through the airport across one full day.
In a social media note, GSP thanked flyers, airline partners and the Upstate community for the busy stretch and for picking the Greer gateway for their trips.
The one-day high lands after a stretch of stronger monthly totals earlier this year, as carriers have added seats and frequencies into the Upstate market.
For people who use GSP, the Oct. 25 number is the clearest recent marker that the Greer terminal is busier than it has been on any earlier day on record.
